UAE is issuing 12 different types of work visa permits. The ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation introduced new visa rules in February 02, 2022. That aims to provide expanded labor market for more employees from India and other world. So it aims to gather skilled labor from all over the world. Rights of employees are also considered under new visa rules. Right of employees are also considered under new UAE Work Visa rules. It is a way to provide attractive opportunities to workers from abroad.
The permits are to facilitate employees as well as employers. It permits freelancers, temporary and part-time workers, juveniles and golden visa holder employees to work in UAE. On other side employers are now allowed to hire temporary workers from all over the world. Even a fifteen years old juvenile can also be hired by UAE nationals. According to Minister of Human Rights and Emiratisation, Dr. Abdul Rehman Al Awar, the UAE Rules of Visa Permit will help to provide easy, protective, efficient, and attractive opportunities t foreign workers. So the new permit rules are following:
1. Juvenile Work Visa:
From age 15 to 18, juvenile can also be hired by UAE companies to work as well as for training purposes. But the UAE authorities has clearly mentioned the conditions.
2. Freelancers Work Visa:
It allows freelancers to avail certain services to accomplish their tasks. But keeping in mind the certain time period to complete the tasks.
3. Student Training Visa:
UAE new work visa rules allow companies to hire students of age between 15 to 18 to provide them training for their better future. So that they perform well in future.
4. Part-time Work Visa:
It allows workers to work for a company for a fixed time. It permits workers to work for number of employers at the same time.
5. Temporary Work Visa:
According to new UAE visa rules the companies can hire a number of employees for a limited time period on temporary basis for projects. Before hiring, the company needs to mention the time period.
6. National Training Visa:
The new laws allow UAE nationals to get benefits from these labor laws and allow them to get training from different companies on the basis of their concerned fields, so that they get expertise in their field.
7. Gulf Cooperation Council Work Visa:
It permits Gulf Cooperation Council nationals and UAE nationals to work in desired UAE companies.
8. One Mission Work Visa:
Different companies can hire employees for certain projects. But the companies need to fix time of that project.
9. Golden Visa Holders Work Visa:
UAE companies can hire golden visa holders for working. Thus they will get more facilities.
10. Outside Worker Visa:
On the introduction of new UAE visa laws more facilities are provided to the workers from abroad.
11. Family Sponsored Workers Visa:
In addition families can sponsor a foreign worker to work in UAE.
12. Transfer From One Work Permit To Another:
According to this law, one can change his permit type from one to other. But certain rules and laws are there.
